A visual connection between has been created between the Georgian country house and the surrounding landscape by using intensely planted perennial borders. These borders echo the symmetry of the house whilst also leading the eye outward, inviting exploration of the scenery beyond. By repeating the pattern of borders, depth and richness was added to the garden, creating a layered effect that enhances the overall aesthetic.

Spring bulbs Tulipa 'Spring Green' & 'Angelique' along with alliums herald a successional planting scheme of blues, purples and whites with hi-lights of pinks. Tellima grandiflora, Geranium 'Brookside’, Alchemilla mollis, Salvia veridis and Salvia verticillata 'Purple Rain' are repeated throughout whilst Crambe cordifolia and Thalictrum delavayi give a frothy finish.  Topiary balls of Buxus semperivens lend structure.
