‘Isobel helped us transform our ‘blank canvas’ of a split-level, courtyard garden into an area full of interest and exploding with colour. She understood exactly what I wanted to achieve, and that I felt totally overwhelmed in how to achieve it. She carefully listed to what I desired, and with her amazing flair, knowledge and organisational skills, calmly created a low-maintenance, wonderfully-scented, peaceful space, which is attractive to pollinators. Before
This new build home only had a tiny, dual level terrace which was overlooked by neighbours. The client already had numerous pots and plants dug up from their last home and the brief was to incorporate these into a container garden.
Design
The scheme exploited every corner of the terrace, adapting planting choices to suit the aspect and creating pockets of colour and texture through the year. Three standard Prunus lusitanica were the main feature to provide screening at high level.
