If the wet and windy weather is getting you down, then head out to Dryham Park in Gloucestershire. Signs of the spring are all around from daffodils in the orchard to the crocuses, chinodoxa, pulmonaria and primroses in the garden.
My favourite is the, sometimes, overwhelming scent of wild garlic that fills the air along the terraces. I love these pretty flowers and if your timing is right, you’ll catch its white flowers mingling with the bluebells that begin to emerge at the beginning of April.
Take in the fresh air, the cheerful daffodils and the sound of bird song - it will lift your spirits!
